  • Erik’s main goal is to offer his clients a space where they can feel the safety and ease to go as deeply into their own processes as they are willing and desire to go. His strong foundation in the clinical aspects of anatomy and physiology have paved the way for more subtle guidance when facilitating healing during sessions. His style of bodywork is strongly influenced by Biodynamic, Myofascial, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Energetic techniques. Clients are empowered to ask for what they want, feel into their bodies to discover what they need, and hopefully lean into that sense of curiosity in their day-to-day lives when the sessions end.

Erik offers time for his clients to explore what it means to be sovereign of their own being. He is simply here to offer skilled hands and knowledge to facilitate the healing processes your body and mind are naturally aligned with to regain balance, and restore. He offers you his undivided attention and presence during sessions. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, vocalize when something does or doesn’t feel right for them, and allow them to gain understanding of their needs.

Erik is excited and honored to bring you closer to yourself, with gratitude for your trust in him as part your healing journey.

  • Erik began practicing massage therapy and bodywork after completing his BA in Psychology & Philosophy at McDaniel College in 2012. He worked in direct care mental health counseling for several years before making the choice to further pursue his passion for the healing arts through massage and energy healing. He has been a bodyworker in spas, clinical settings, shared collaborative spaces with other practitioners, and now he his thrilled to be building his own practice again in Portland after a hiatus during the start of the covid-19 pandemic.

Erik strives to facilitate lasting change in clients, approaching the body from a place of curiosity and intention. He has made a concerted effort to study with teachers who focus on evidence-based approaches to bodywork to ensure he has a strong clinical foundation for his clients. Simultaneously he studies more subtle energetic approaches that focus on mind-body-emotion-spirit flow and integration.

His signature integrative sessions are a synthesis of Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Biodynamic, Swedish, and Energetic techniques. During sessions clients are encouraged to be active participants in the work to direct their healing. However, those seeking a more relaxing or passive experience are also given the opportunity to completely let go and melt deeply into their experience.

You can trust Erik will take to heart what you request at the beginning of your session and keep communication open and clear. He has a keen sense for connecting with and understanding his clients. Your comfort, safety, and boundaries are paramount during a session.

Whether booking with Erik for pain management/injury recovery, pre/post an athletic event, Reiki & energetic healing (in-person or remote), or relaxation, you can expect to feel acceptance, respect, and the therapeutic flow of his work to restore your vitality!

Beyond bodywork, Erik also offers Intuitive Services through Oracle Card readings for those seeking more clarity and guidance in any aspect of life. However, he is very clear that card readings should never substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice/counseling.

When he is not working directly with clients Erik enjoys studying herbal medicine, swimming, exploring various meditation and spiritual practices, as well as engaging in continuing education coursework to deepen his understanding of anatomy/physiology and new bodywork modalities to be the best resource possible for his clients and community.

You can always email Erik directly with any questions or DM him on Instagram!
